A cleat hitch is one of the most useful knots to know when mooring a boat, pontoon or watercraft to a dock.
In this short video, we show a simple and effective way to tie a cleat hitch directly on a Nomad Dock.
A standard cleat hitch is usually tied with one crossing before the final locking turn. In the video, we use two crossings before the final lock, which is the method we prefer for a strong and secure hold.
At E-Z Innovation, we design simple, strong and maintenance-free pontoons and docks made to help people enjoy the water simply.
The video is in French, but the demonstration clearly shows the concept in action.
